The Amstel Field (Q13 Block)
- Delta acquired Island Netherlands BV, a subsidiary of Island Oil & Gas (IOG) in April 2008
- Through this acquisition, Delta became operator of the Q13a block (including the Amstel oil field) and the post-Triassic Q13b block. The Q13 block is located offshore in shallow water. Delta also acquired the Q16b block
- Amstel was one of the first offshore oil discoveries in the Netherlands. Delta will develop the field by using innovative platform and subsurface technology
- Potential for exploration and tie-back of nearby discoveries
